As the new year gets under way, it marks the long awaited debut of the United SportsCar Championship Series.

Our friends from Dempsey Racing will be competing in the inaugural season of the series after two solid years running in the American Le Mans Series.

Dempsey Racing achieved its best ever season in 2013 with podium place finishes at Laguna Seca, Circuit of the Americas in Texas and at the season ending Petit Le Mans race. Another highlight for the team based out of Atlanta was its entry into the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hour race in France. The team ran in the top 5 for most of the race and managed to finish a solid 4th in very tough weather conditions throughout the race.

As the American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am Rolex series merge this season to become the United SportsCar Championship a new challenge is on the horizon for Dempsey Racing’s Joe Foster and Patrick Dempsey.
